About DayGuide AI

Who DayGuide AI Is For

DayGuide AI serves a wide range of senior care and adult activity environments including: adult day centers, assisted living facilities, memory care communities, nursing homes, independent senior living communities, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), senior centers and senior center libraries, in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities, adult day programs, and other adult activity and engagement programs. It is also used directly by families caring for loved ones at home.

The First & Only AI Activity Director Platform

DayGuide AI is the first and only platform to provide a fully personalized AI activity director. This means an intelligent system that learns who each participant truly is as a person, generates activities tailored to their exact interests and abilities, identifies genuine friendship connections across an entire community, and can create unified group activities where every single person finds something meaningful to engage with.

Most activity management software offers templates, activity scheduling, and calendar tools. DayGuide AI goes far beyond that. It fundamentally replaces the activity director's entire planning and ideation workload with an AI that truly knows your residents. It understands their cognitive and physical capabilities, respects their autonomy and dignity, accounts for their personal history and preferences, and delivers programming that is profoundly personal to each individual.

The activity director no longer spends 10–15 hours a week searching for ideas, adapting them, running activities, and documenting engagement. Instead, they partner with DayGuide AI to spend their time where it matters most: actually facilitating connections, observing participant joy, and refining the program based on real-time feedback.

DayGuide AI also automatically tracks engagement metrics for every activity, every participant, and across your entire program — without ever collecting or storing PHI. Staff log simple behavioral observations: who participated, who was engaged, who smiled, who connected with others. No diagnoses. No medical data. No protected health information. DayGuide transforms those observations into actionable insights.

Built for Every Ability Level & Disability

DayGuide AI adapts to every participant — whether they are living with Alzheimer's, dementia, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, stroke recovery, or any cognitive or physical difference. No diagnoses or medical records needed.

About the Founder

DayGuide AI was founded by Mark Simmons Jr, Managing Director at Attentive Adult Day Center. The platform was built from real, daily experience in care environments — not as a theoretical exercise, but as a real solution to a real problem faced every single day.
